About Us

The Organisation for social equity is a Non-Profit organization established in 2017 under the section 8 of companies Act, 2013. The firm started with a vision of transforming a world in which people can live their lives supported by appropriate, sustainable infrastructure and by the efficient use of the public resources. With the objective to create awareness and provide solutions in the area of environment, education, employment, increase the index of livelihood in India by eliminating poverty, Hunger & to promote Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs). The firm is open to new ideas and wants to help people build better lives and attain sustainable development by creating a participative society. The organisation brings together a group of development practitioners – and an expanding network of consultants – with extensive experience of working on social protection, social development, management, financial inclusion gender and social inclusion across the country to make India a better and Prosperous Nation.

Social Protection

In recent years, social protection has become recognised as a core driver of poverty reduction, greater equity and economic growth in developing countries. Organisation for social equity promotes a strongly evidence-based, innovative, pragmatic and politically sensitive approach to social protection.

Social Development

Organisation for social equity provides analysis of social and political structures, dynamics and power relations that enable/exclude people from taking advantage of opportunities and drive poverty reduction. Our strong social appraisal skill across a range of sectors informs programming that delivers outcomes for the poor – in particular women and excluded groups. We use social analysis to inform practical strategies for projects, organisations, and government institutions.

Financial Inclusion

Organisation for social equity Specialists have worked with microfinance institutions, think tanks and donors to advice on innovative and feasible solutions for payment transfer mechanisms, innovative microfinance plus solutions, inclusive financial services, and financial education.

Monitoring & Evaluation

Organisation for social equity Specialists have strong cross-cutting design and delivery skills for research and appraisal; programme planning and design; monitoring and evaluation (including the development of log frames). Our Specialists have a strong background in both quantitative analysis, qualitative and participatory analysis, designing M&E systems, and research.

Research

Organisation for social equity team have core expertise in designing and implementing large scale research programmes. The organisation’s team of specialists have a strong track record of leading research for designs and evaluations and multi-country research projects that combine quantitative, qualitative and innovative participatory research methods.

Training

Organisation for social equity have strong core capacity in training on social protection and social development. On social protection, our training experience has been broad, but with a particular focus on social transfers and social security.
